Instead of rigid templates, Nebula uses a flexible Blueprint system. You can create custom categories (like 'NPC' or 'City') and add specific fields to them (like 'Age' or 'Population').
How to create: Go to the campaign overview and click on the 'Type(s)' counter, or open it via Settings to use the Blueprint Architect.
How it helps: Every time you make a new entity of that type, it will automatically have all those fields ready to fill out!
Linking Things Together
A living world is built on relationships. You can easily connect any character, place, or item to another.
The Link Tool: Use the button in this menu (bottom-right) to quickly connect two things from anywhere in the app.
Tagging in text: When writing notes, type @ followed by a name to instantly create a clickable link to that character or place!
Notes & Sessions
The Story Binder is your main notebook. You can organize folders, write session summaries, and plan your plots here.
Keeping secrets: By default, your notes are hidden from players (marked as a DM Secret). You can easily change this to share lore with your group.
Formatting: You can use standard Markdown (like **bold text** or # Big Heading) to style your text quickly while playing.
Maps & Cartography
You can upload world maps, city layouts, or battle grids using the Asset Library.
Interactive Pins: Double-click anywhere on a map to place a pin. You can link this pin to an existing character, or use it as a doorway to open another map!
Smart Money
Nebula automatically highlights standard roleplaying money (like copper or gold) in your text.
Just type 100 gp, 50 sp, or 10 pp in your notes. The system will color them and show a helpful tooltip if someone hovers their mouse over it.
